Marine industry is becoming increasingly aware that corrosion can be the primary cause of a ship becoming prematurely unseaworthy with loss of life and tonnage a serious possibility.The main type of corrosion protection used besides coating is cathodic protection. Cathodic protection systems use either Impressed Current Equipment in compination with sacrificial anodes.
Cathodic protection with sacrificial anodes is one of the most effective measures against corrosion.
ZBA have two main types of Sacrificial anodes: Zinc and Aluminum which are alloyed whith other metals to give performance enhancement.

Our facilities are equipped with 3 Gaz furnaces with a total capacity to produce 8 Tons of Zinc and 4 Tons of Aluminium per day. We are also have our own fully equipped tool room where all molds for the casting are made.ZBA has designed, manufactured & supplied in excess of 6.000 Tons of sacrificial Zinc & Aluminium Alloy anodes for various applications in Marine & Offshore Sectors.

To ensure the production of uniformly high quality products, ZBA is certified to the requirements of ISO 9001 by BV Quality Assurance. The ZBA Management System covers every stage of the production process-from design,to manufacture,right through to delivery.The key objective of the ZBA management system is to continually improve.This is achived by reviewing and refining all processes critical to producing high quality products.
LABORATORY SERVICES
Our own in house quality program and laboratory facilities guarantees top quality products.To ensure anode purity all raw materials undergo thorough inspection and every alloy batch is spectrografically tested prior to anode casting.Anodes can only be cast if the spectrographic analysis is within specification.On request ZBA can provide certificate of Chemical Analysis.Customer may also arrange inspections by recognized quality assurance agencies such asBV,DNV,ABS.
